Ten Gallon Apps, LLC — Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 21, 2026

This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile and desktop applications (the "Apps") that Ten Gallon Apps, LLC ("we," "us," "our") publishes through consumer app stores — including Google Play, the Apple App Store, and the Microsoft Store — or makes available for direct download, across all operating systems and devices on which they are distributed. It does not apply to any websites, web applications, or online services we may host on our own servers, which are governed by their own separate privacy policies linked from the relevant service. We have written this policy to be as clear and honest as possible. The short version is below; the full details follow.

Summary

  • The Apps do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information about you to us. We do not operate servers that receive data from the Apps.
  • Information you enter into the Apps (such as saved loans in our calculator apps) is stored only on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the App.
  • The Apps embed third-party services (from Google, and where applicable Apple) for crash reporting and, in some apps, advertising and in-app purchases. Those services collect data directly on the provider's behalf, not ours. Each service is listed below with a link to the provider's authoritative policy.

What We Collect

Nothing. The Apps do not collect, store, or transmit personal information to us. We do not operate servers that receive data from the Apps. (This statement applies to the Apps as defined above; any online services we may operate are governed by their own separate policies.)

What's Stored on Your Device

Each App may store the following locally on your device:

  • Data you enter in the App (for example, saved loans in our loan calculator apps).
  • Your preferences (for example, currency symbol, or a flag recording that you have purchased ad removal).

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to share it using your device's share features. It is removed when you uninstall the App.

Third-Party Services

The Apps embed services provided by Google (and, on Apple platforms, by Apple). When you use one of the Apps, these services may collect information directly on the provider's behalf under the provider's own privacy policies. We describe each service and its scope below.

Firebase Crashlytics (used in all apps)

Crashlytics helps us diagnose and fix crashes. When an app crashes, Crashlytics sends Google a crash report that may include the stack trace, device model, operating system version, an anonymous installation identifier, the time of the crash, and the IP address (used to infer approximate country). We do not intentionally collect personally identifying information through Crashlytics. See Privacy and Security in Firebase for Google's description of retention and processing.

Google AdMob (used only in apps that display advertising)

Some of our apps are free and supported by advertising served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect your device's Advertising ID, IP address, approximate (IP-derived) location, and ad interaction data to serve and measure ads. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you will be shown a consent prompt before personalized ads are loaded; declining results in non-personalized ads. On iOS and iPadOS, personalized advertising additionally requires your consent via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt; declining similarly results in non-personalized ads. You can review and reset your Advertising ID and ad personalization settings at any time in your device's system settings. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

In-app purchases (used only in apps that offer in-app purchases)

Some of our apps offer an optional in-app purchase to remove ads. On Android, the purchase is processed by Google Play Billing; on iOS, iPadOS, and macOS, it is processed by Apple StoreKit. In all cases, the store handles the transaction and we never receive or store your payment card data. After purchase, the app stores only a local flag on your device indicating that ads are disabled, and verifies that flag with the store on launch.

App store purchases (used for paid apps purchased upfront)

Some of our apps are purchased upfront through an app store such as Google Play, the Apple App Store, or the Microsoft Store. That purchase is handled entirely by the store before the app runs; our app does not process your payment information. See the store's own privacy policy for how it handles purchase data: Google Privacy Policy, Apple Privacy Policy, Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Your Rights

Because our apps do not collect personal information about you, we do not hold any personal data to disclose, correct, or delete on your behalf. If you would like to exercise rights related to data collected by the Google services embedded in our apps, please use Google's own tools:

  • Advertising: Review and manage your ad settings at Google My Ad Center.
  • All Google services: Use Google's privacy controls to review and delete data.
  • California residents (CCPA/CPRA): The use of Advertising IDs by AdMob may qualify as "sharing" under California law. You can opt out of personalized advertising using the device and Google controls described above. We do not sell personal information.
  • EU, UK, Swiss residents (GDPR / UK GDPR): You can withdraw consent to personalized advertising at any time through the in-app consent prompt or your device's ad personalization settings. For requests related to data held by Google, please use Google's privacy controls above or contact Google directly.

If you have a question that is not addressed above, you are welcome to contact us at the email below and we will do our best to help.

Children's Privacy

Our apps are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has used our apps and that personal information was collected by an embedded service, please contact us and we will work with the relevant provider to address it.

International Data Transfers

The Google services embedded in our apps may transfer and process data in the United States and other countries where Google operates. These transfers are handled by Google under its own policies and legal safeguards.

Our Privacy Principles

  • We build Apps that do not require personal information to work.
  • For the Apps covered by this policy, we do not operate servers and we do not receive data from users.
  • When we embed third-party services, we disclose them clearly and link to the provider's authoritative policy.
  • We aim to keep this policy accurate and up to date as the Apps evolve.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when we add or remove a third-party service. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective date" above. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
